7th China International Plastics Exhibition Opens in Nanjing
The 7th China International Plastics Exhibition opened on October 28 in Nanjing and runs for three days. With over 70,000 square meters and more than 1,000 exhibitors, this is the largest edition yet. Six halls cover the entire plastics chain—from raw materials and equipment to recycling—so a single walk-through reveals a lot.
For WPC professionals, the New Materials Hall and the Green Development Hall are the must-sees. Topics like bio-based resins and recycled plastics are directly tied to the compliance standards that outdoor WPC flooring must meet in European and US markets—recycled content, fire ratings, and more. When upstream formulations change, the test reports for our decking boards change with them.

On the processing side, co-extruded WPC decking remains the industry's hottest topic. The co-extrusion layer significantly improves weather and stain resistance. With many masterbatch and extrusion equipment suppliers on-site, it's a good chance to compare materials and machinery up close.
Nearly 40 side events are happening alongside the show, with buying delegations from Europe, the Americas, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Despite overall profit pressure in 2025, new materials and green transformation stand out as two clear breakout directions. It's a key upstream signal for global buyers evaluating WPC decking suppliers.

The show runs until October 30—worth a visit if you can make it. We'll keep following the WPC-related material and process developments.
Our Senlai team also came back from the expo with fresh research on upstream materials and co-extrusion technology, and we're ready to put what we learned straight into our next product upgrade. If you're looking for the latest WPC solutions, just drop us a line.
