So this board is made with a hollow, lightweight section - just 2.1 kg per meter, close to 40% lighter than the same size in solid WPC. Spread over the fence area that is roughly 15 kg of board per square metre against 24.5 kg for a solid board; on a 1.8 m garden run the saving in dead weight alone is substantial. 140 x 20 mm WPC fence board, 2.1 kg/m - a hollow section 40% lighter than solid board. WPC Fence Board Flat 140 x 20 mm (2.5 kg/m) is the steadier board in the range. Same 140 x 20 size, but at 2.5 kg per meter it carries 0.4 kg more than the lightweight hollow board - and that extra material all goes into the board itself, with a higher fill rate and thicker walls. The 140 mm face means fewer joints and full screening, and the 20 mm thickness keeps the board stiff. Outdoor performance is unchanged: it takes in no water, so it will not rot, split, host insects or grow mould; UV-stabilised so the colour will not bleach; no paint and no wax, ever. For a fence that is steadier, stands up to wind and is easier to keep clean, choose the flat board. For the lightest board and the fastest install, choose the 2.1 kg/m. 140 x 20 mm flat fence board, 2.5 kg/m - more material behind it, stands up to wind, and a flat face that is easy to keep clean.
WPC Fence Board Embossed 140 x 20 mm (2.5 kg/m) is the board in the range with the most timber character. At 2.5 kg per meter its section - fill rate and wall thickness - is identical to the flat board of the same size; the difference is entirely in the face. The surface is pressed in the die with a wood grain that rises and falls in relief.The 140 mm face means fewer joints and full screening, and 20 mm of thickness behind 2.5 kg per meter keeps the board solid: on coastal sites, rooftops and open windy ground it will not flex or rattle, and it stands up to children, balls and everyday knocks. 140 x 20 mm embossed fence board, 2.5 kg/m - real timber texture, hides scratches and scuffs, and looks better the longer it is up.
WPC Fence Board Embossed 160 x 20 mm (2.6 kg/m) is the most efficient board in the range. At 160 mm the face is 20 mm wider than the usual 140 mm, and worked out over real quantities that matters: to cover one square metre of fence, a 140 mm board needs 7.14 m of board while a 160 mm board needs only 6.25 m - 12.5% less board outright. And it is not only board you save.It takes in no water, so it will not rot, split, host insects or grow mould; UV-stabilised so the colour will not bleach; no paint and no wax, ever. For a large area where you still want the texture of timber, the 160 mm board uses the least board, has the fewest joints and takes the least labour. 160 x 20 mm embossed fence board, 2.6 kg/m - a 160 mm face that uses 12.5% less board and leaves 12.5% fewer joints for the same area.
WPC Co-Extrusion Fence Board 160 x 20 mm (2.351 kg/m) is the most sun-proof and the lightest large-area option in the range. Co-extrusion is the generational step in this product family: as the core is extruded, a polymer shell is applied around it in the die and fused into it as one body.The 160 mm face also makes it an economical option: 6.25 m of board covers a square metre, 12.5% less than a 140 mm board. And at 2.351 kg per meter it is the lightest board in the range - a square metre of fence weighs only about 14.7 kg, lighter even than the 140 mm hollow board, so posts and footings carry the least. 160 x 20 mm co-extrusion fence board, 2.351 kg/m - just 14.7 kg per square metre, a UV-stable shell that will not fade, and 12.5% less board for the same area.
